The District is chartered by the American Motorcyclist Association consisting of approximately 30 A.M.A. chartered motorcycle clubs throughout the state of New Jersey. The clubs meet monthly to discuss news and events in the motorcycle community.
These clubs co-operate in drawing different dates for their motorcycle events, so they are not in competition for attendance. They combine their efforts once a year to host the District Corn Boil/Rally to raise funds to cover expenses for the District to function.
A schedule book is published annually with these events and 20,000 books are distributed throughout the state. These clubs and motorcycle dealers can advertise in the schedule book.
The Polar Bear Grand Tour is organized by the District and has been functioning since 1977. It was started to enable motorcyclists to have a meeting place throughout the winter months and has been gaining in popularity every year.
Any motorcycle organization can join the District if they are chartered by the A.M.A. If your organization would like to join, contact one of the officers for more information.
